The Volkswagen Multivan Startline - Neat solutions at an attractive price
Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is now expanding the class of versatile large MPVs that it defined to include an attractive entry-level version called the "Multivan Startline".
The Volkswagen Multivan Startline has gone back to the basics: It is practical, flexible, economical and robust. It is therefore mainly aimed at young families, who are active in their leisure time. Specially designed silver decals and privacy glass give the vehicle an elegant appearance while smooth panelling makes the interior functional. The Volkswagen Multivan Startline is therefore easy to look after. Families with several children as well as active sportsmen will appreciate this and also the practical net hung along the rear section of the roof.
The sliding three-seater rear bench can be folded together into a sandwich or folded out to make a bed. The table, which locks into a rail on the left-hand side, is stored in the sliding door panelling when you are on the road. Practical: The table can also be used outside the vehicle. The Volkswagen Multivan Startline is available with additional single seats at an extra cost. This allows up to seven people to travel in the Multivan.
The exterior design is reflected on the inside with new seat covers in Panama design. Central locking, power windows and electrically adjusted mirrors are also included in the extensive standard equipment. A bed extension and curtains can also be ordered.
An economical four cylinder TDI delivering 62kW (84hp) is available as the basic engine. But that's not where it ends: You can also order any engine from the whole Multivan range. The diesel range, for example, is rounded off with a 2.5-litre powerplant delivering 128kW (174hp) that is equipped with a particulate filter as standard.
